This morning Crown of Life Lutheran Church ended service with a groundbreaking for the new addition that will connect our church and school buildings. It was a joyous occasion to come together to ask God for His blessing as we set apart this ground for the building expansion and His glory. We pray that God will be glorified in this place and that the gospel will continue to be shared throughout our community.
Thank you to our church and school leaders for your love and dedication, and thank you to all of our Crown of Life families for your continual support. We are so blessed!

Week one of the building expansion project came with dramatic changes as we watched the demolition of our old fellowship hall. Clean up continued into week two, and then progress moved from the excitement of demo to the importance of support structures. The church's current narthex will be removed but the movement of a/c units and the need for support structures are being worked on in preparation for continual dismantling. A new narthex will later be constructed to connect the church sanctuary to the new addition to the school.
With all of these changes, Wednesday's school chapel and Sunday services are now taking place in the school's gym. Groundbreaking is planned for this coming Sunday, May 19th during the 9am service. Join us as we celebrate God's provisions and the upcoming construction of our new building! The first of May brought a lot of excitement to Crown of Life! All school year, we have been waiting with much anticipation to start construction on our building expansion project. We are adding approximately 7000 square feet between the school building and the church sanctuary. The new addition will host 4 classrooms, bathrooms, and a large entryway, plus additional rooms for Sunday mornings.
This week our permits came through, a construction office was delivered, and the site was fenced off for our safety. On May 2nd, demolition began! The old fellowship hall was removed, as well as the covered walkway between our three buildings. Our students are filled with excitement as they watch through our glass front doors, which have become a perfect viewing area. Praise the Lord with us as we thank Him for His continual provision and the growth of Crown of Life Christian Academy! |
